Head of Biology: Mr Daniel J Cupit MA
Graduated from Newcastle University with a BSc in Biology and a MSc in Environmental Consultancy before completing a PGCE and MEd at Durham University. I have joined King’s from
Newcastle School for Boys where I was Head of Biology. My particular areas of interest in Biology are Marine Biology and Ecology.
I enjoy outdoor pursuits and have a background in county rugby and cricket before moving onto rowing.
Mr Malcolm Jeffrey BSc
University of Aberdeen, BSc in Forestry (not Floristry). Involved with research into Biofuels, Wood Supply Research Group. Management consultancy in SE England on EC Funded Project. Managing Director of a sawmill in Kent milling English Oak for the quality end of the market. Retrained to become a Teacher and Housemaster in 2005. Arrived at KSB in 2011.
Miss Kate Flavell BSc (Hons)
Graduated from University of Leeds in 2010 with a BSc degree in Sports Science and Physiology. I joined King’s Bruton in September 2010 as a Graduate Student and am now a teaching member of the Biology department, as well as being Resident Tutor in Wellesley House.
Mr Stuart Hamilton BEd
Taught in Biology Department for 3 years. Teaches students in 3rd to 5th form.
Mrs Jane Milton
Left school at 16 with 5 O” levels and joined Unigate Creamery as a trainee technician. Two children and many years later I joined King’s. As the senior technician I am responsible for preparing and laying out all the Biology (and Chemistry) practicals and ensuring the Biology teaching staff are prepared for their lessons.
