Good Causes
The Good Causes Committee was re-established in the Summer Term 2011 and is responsible for co-ordinating the fundraising activities of the school. Represented by two students from each boarding house, the committee decided to elect a charity for the year and to determine a monetary target to donate for that year. After house elections the Children’s Ward at Yeovil Hospital was chosen as the charity for 2011-12 and a target of £6,000 was set; an amount to buy one of the observation monitors that will be needed for the new high dependency unit that is currently being developed.

- Remembrance Day Poppy Appeal – Royal British Legion
- Alex Edward’s Memorial Rugby Match – in aid of the Rifles Regimental Trust
- Mufti Day, Friday 18 November – in aid of Children in Need
- Snow Ball, for 3rd, 4th and 5th formers, Saturday 3 December
- Christmas Candy Canes
- Christmas Fayre, in conjunction with The Friends of Kings, Sunday 11 December
