Third Form Produce Concert Full Of Talent

Concert Music

The 3rd Form Concert was a great success - a real variety of instruments and genres; there was so much to enjoy.

Freya opened the concert with some beautiful and well-controlled phrases, she produces an excellent sound as does Ella who also performed on the clarinet. I particularly enjoyed the sounds Ella produced in the lower register. Imogen sung beautifully, she has an excellent voice, great diction and strong intonation. Alice also sung beautifully, she gave a delightful performance of The Water Is Wide arranged by Hayes. Thomas played a cool sounding jazz piece on the trumpet, our other brass player was Adam who performed The Acrobat on the trombone, he is developing into an outstanding trombonist who performs with great character. Scarlet played the flute beautifully, she has an excellent tone quality. Juliette is another very promising singer, I can easily imagine her in a few years’ time performing with the Big Band. Aidan performed both on the piano and the saxophone; he is obviously very musical and performed with mature attention to phrasing. Amy is another young singer with a brilliant voice, a really lovely sound especially in the high register. Constance played a difficult piece on the violin, she has excellent bow technique and gave a very focussed performance. Freddie gave a great performance on the drums, he really has an excellent sense of rhythm. Freddie brought the concert to an end, he has an outstanding voice, I can’t wait to hear him when he is a little older! Congratulations to all involved. An album and some audio from the evening can be seen below.
