U6th Form BTEC Hospitality pupils walked up to the Roth Bar & Grill for a Cocktail Masterclass.

On Thursday, the U6^th Form BTEC Hospitality pupils took part in a Cocktail Masterclass at the Roth Bar. Sean, the Assistant Manager and cocktail guru, demonstrated his skills, knowledge and passion to teach our pupils who were enthralled by all they learnt.

They were taken around the world via cocktails beginning with a Mojito, an Expresso Martini, the now very popular Negroni and then a Cinderella (a wonderful fruity non-alcoholic cocktail).

Oliver was given the chance to create his own cocktail, and everyone had a chance to pour, build or shake a drink. Recently, we were able to successfully serve Strawberry Daiquiris at our Afternoon Tea, but now everyone has the knowledge and skills to increase their cocktail range. 

This summer’s parties and BBQ’s could be impressive social events if you have a Hospitality pupil as a member of your household!
