Welcome to King’s Bruton Combined Cadet Force

CCF

King's Bruton Combined Cadet Force offers students the opportunity to learn military skills, develop initative and self-reliance, to become leaders both within and without the CCF, and to thoroughly enjoy themselves in the process. The CCF at King's is made up of Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force Sections. 4th form recruits are placed in to a 9-week rotation through all 3 Sections giving them the opportunity to pass the basic training before making the decision which Section join for the remainder of their CCF career.

Throughout the year, extra activities are available for those who are interested, including annual Military and Adventure Training Camps at the start of the Easter and Summer holidays, Ten Tors, the NCO Cadre Leadership Course, the shooting activity on Wednesday afternoons, as well as trips to various military bases.
