New House stands proudly at the heart of the King’s campus and is home to over 50 boys, where both boarding and day pupils are fully integrated and work collaboratively to support each other.
It provides a nurturing, safe and caring environment in which pupils value the attributes of others; facing challenges together and making friends for life. Pupils have a wide range of talents and interests both in and out of the classroom from music and drama to rugby and kayaking. New House prides itself on putting its best foot forward in the many inter-house events at King’s and maintains a strong sense of pride and identity. New House offers many exciting activities and trips throughout the year with highlights including: tenpin bowling, delicious house meals at local restaurants and running a stall at the Christmas Fayre.
New House has a large Common Room with a flat screen television complete with satellite facilities, DVD player and Apple TV. There is also a large fully-equipped house kitchen and games room with pool table, table tennis and dart board facilities along with full WiFi coverage.
New House boasts an impressive blog and Twitter feed which can be seen below.
