The School is delighted to announce that A Hammond and Sons Limited of Sturminster Newton have been appointed as prime contractor to deliver the New Music School for our 500^th Anniversary Celebrations.

Hammond have a proven track record working closely with independent schools to deliver the highest quality facilities, and a great deal of experience in working in conservation areas which will be key to the success of this project. Managing Director, Philip L Hammond, said “We are delighted to have secured the New Music School project for King’s Bruton and very much look forward to working with the architects Levitt Bernstein and the team.” The appointment of Hammond completes the team that will be delivering the Music School:

• Architect - Levitt Bernstein.
• Mechanical and Electrical Consultant - QODA Consulting.
• Acoustic Consultant - Theatretech.
• Structural Engineering Consultant - CIVIC Engineers.
• Quantity Surveyor - Peter Gunning and Partners.

The start date is now set as Monday 10^th July 2017, and we are looking forward to making rapid progress over the Summer Holidays.
