On Saturday 9th November, The King’s Bruton Jazz Sextet were invited to play at Perrott Hill Prep School’s annual Bonfire Night.
The Sextet played a number of jazz standards, including 'Cantaloupe Island', 'Work Song', and 'Perdido'. The Sextet also joined forces with Perrott Hill’s Wind Band, for a fantastic performance of 'Moon River'.
On a particularly chilly evening, the Sextet were warmly received and performed brilliantly. Our thanks to Mike Selhurst, who rehearses the Sextet, and Julian Shortman, the Perrott Hill Director of Music, for the support and hospitality throughout the evening.
