3rd Form Pupils had a fabulous day visiting The Wild Place Project
The 3rd Form pupils had a fabulous day visiting the Wild Place Project in Bristol. They took part in engaging Art workshops and attended educational sessions on adaptation, led by the zoo’s education team. They also had the opportunity to see a wide variety of animals, including the gorillas, who are a new addition to the park this year.
It was a busy and enjoyable day, packed with opportunities to bring learning to life and explore topics covered across both the Biology and Art syllabuses.
The gorillas were a firm favourite with the pupils, although the giraffes, wolves, bears and meerkats also featured highly on their list of favourites! One pupil said, "The zoo is really cool, and the animals have a lot of space which I like".
