3rd Form pupils has a great day out on their Biology and Art Trip...

The entire 3rd Form travelled to The Wild Place Project in Bristol on Tuesday 27th of September. This was a combined Biology and Art trip that previously had gone to Bristol and Paignton Zoos. The Wild Place Project was brilliant, and has good spaces for the animals. The pupils saw wolves and bears (in the same wild enclosure), cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, meerkats and lynx. They completed a biology-based task in the morning, and after lunch, were set up with a small art project which kept them busy for the whole day. The pupils were engaged and enthusiastic throughout the visit and saw some remarkable animals, surprisingly close-up. The Wild Place Project is relatively new, and they hope to expand in the coming months and years, and we will be able to make use of their educational facilities in the future as well. All-in-all it was a super day out.
