On Friday evening, seven pupils gave their first public performance as a pupil at King’s...
The New Musicians’ and Award Holders’ Concert was held in the Hauser & Wirth Recital Hall in The Queen Elizabeth Music School, and also livestreamed for friends and family unable to support in person. It is without a doubt, the most nerve-wracking concert of any pupils’ school career. However, despite this, the performers gave it their all, in what was a special evening. Boo opened the concert with a confident performance of Song of Summer by Berger. This was followed with a range of genres from Telemann’s Vivace to the Alen Menken’s When She Loved Me from Disney’s film, 'Toy Story'. All the pupils really supported and encouraged each other so well which was lovely to see.
Well done to all involved in a superb New Musicians’ and Award Holders’ Concert and we look forward to supporting these fine musicians over the coming years and watching them flourish.
