Development Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Development Officer to start September 2019.  The Development Officer will support the Development Director in the delivery of strategic, friendly and engaging events and communications for all audiences, with a particular focus on alumni and the parent community.

This role will align with the broader development strategy and planning at King’s and will be line managed by the Development Director.

Artist in Residence in association with Hauser & Wirth Somerset

Part-time, term-time only starting in September 2019.

The new position of Artist in Residence is available to a working (visual) artist in any medium or form who is passionate about teaching. It is expected that the successful applicant will contribute to, and enhance, the curriculum and co-curricular Art provision at King’s. The Artist in Residence would work closely with the education team at Hauser & Wirth Somerset and would be expected to further develop the links between King’s and Hauser & Wirth Somerset.

Initially this is a fixed one-year appointment, however, this could be extended upon agreement. As an Artist in Residence, the successful applicant will have access to their own studio space in King’s, a well-resourced department and a display space in the newly built gallery. He/she will have the opportunity to work with some very enthusiastic and talented King’s pupils and help nurture and develop their passion for Art.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate artist to help continue and develop the Art programme at King’s and develop an educational relationship with a world-class gallery. This position comes with single accommodation if required.

Summer Cleaners

The School is looking to recruit Summer Cleaners to cover the cleaning of Boarding Houses and main school classrooms (7.00am - 1.00pm) or (09.00 – 1.00pm) Monday to Friday, (09.00 – 12.00) Saturdays and Sundays. Variety of shift patterns available.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Matrons to start September 2019.  The Matrons provides domestic, pastoral and administrative support and daytime supervision of the Boarding Houses.  The positions are term time only. There may be some flexibility to consider alternative work patterns.

Role 1 – Week A (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

              Week B (Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Role 2 – Week B (Saturday)
