We are looking for a part time, term-time only Science Technician to start as soon as possible. This is an important position working within the Science Departments, providing practical and administrative support to the teaching staff. Experience of working within a similar educational environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
You will be required to work 2.5 days a week (17.5 hours), with a full day either Thursday and Friday or Monday and Tuesday plus a Saturday morning.

We are looking to recruit a part-time Registered Nurse with minor injuries / illness experience to work as part of a small team in the School Health Centre.
The requirement is term time only, for an average of 12 hours per week by rota, and may involve weekend and evening oncall or work. The team of nurses provide 24-hour medical cover for pupils, 13-18 years, and staff, with an on-call system for nights and Sundays.

Full Time Position from September 2020
We require a well-qualified, creative and enthusiastic teacher of Science to join the well-resourced and high achieving Science Department at King’s Bruton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and passionate teacher who can teach up to KS4 across all three sciences. An ability to teach a science to KS5 would be an advantage but is not essential.
The department continues to achieve excellent academic results both at GCSE and A Level and the uptake of Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A Level is strong with many pupils looking to pursue science related courses at university.
We are looking for a passionate and innovative teacher with a determination to enrich pupils and raise pupil achievement. The position is suitable for both experienced and newly qualified teachers and there may be the possibility to combine this position with a Resident Tutor position in the school.

An opportunity has arisen for a confident, talented and enthusiastic bassoon teacher to join the Peripatetic teams at King’s Bruton and Hazlegrove Preparatory School.
