King’s School, Bruton is seeking an experienced, dynamic and highly organised Head of Admissions to lead and manage the full admissions process.
This pivotal role is responsible for delivering a professional, efficient and welcoming experience for all prospective families. Working closely with the Director of Admissions and Marketing, you will oversee pupil recruitment across the UK and internationally, from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
You will combine strategic oversight with a hands-on approach, ensuring every prospective pupil and family receives a seamless and personal admissions journey.
Key responsibilities
You will have significant experience in admissions, recruitment or a related education role, with the ability to manage the full admissions process. Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills are essential, along with experience using CRM systems such as iSAMS.
Experience in the independent school sector, international admissions, UKVI requirements and line management would be advantageous.
This is a term-time plus role, working 34 weeks per year during School term time, plus 5 weeks during School holiday periods. The role is 37.5 hours per week, normally 8.30am to 5.00pm, with some Saturday mornings required.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Part-Time Tennis Coach for three days per week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (approximately 5–6 hours per day).
This position is from 20th April 2026 (summer term only).
The successful candidate will hold an LTA Level 2 or 3 Accredited / Accredited+ qualification and have proven experience coaching young people, ideally within an independent school environment.
You will be approachable, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a genuine passion for tennis coaching with the ability to motivate, encourage, and inspire young players.
A competitive Hourly Rate will be offered, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Kings Bruton is a successful HMC co-educational boarding and day school of 350 pupils aged 13-18. An experienced, pro-active, professional Receptionist is required to look after our front of school Reception and provide efficient administrative support.
