Impressive Somerset Arts Weeks’ Exhibition

Art Academic Events

This year’s Somerset Arts Weeks’ exhibition is now under way in the school gallery and contains an eclectic mix of creative visual arts and crafts, writes Wayne Spilsbury, Head of Art.

I am pleased to have secured contributions from Governors, Matrons, domestic staff, support staff, technicians, parents and a number of teachers. The show is on until the 8th October and I would thoroughly reccomend anyone who is interested to come and have a look at all the work on display. Interesting entries include the illustrated Nepal diaries of Mr Lowry which are a written and visual record of a school trip to the Himalayas, and also worth note are the delicate handmade jewellery and hand stitched greeting cards of one of our domestic staff.
