"Timeless classic comedy 'Ab Fab' acted by a group of wonderful and very talented Priory girls".

Last Thursday and Friday the audience was treated to fantastic performances of Absolutely Fabulous - Episodes 1 & 5. The girls have been rehearsing since September with the L6^th Form taking responsibility for Episode 1 ‘Fashion’ helped by their tutor Miss Hoskins, whilst the U6^th Form have produced Episode 5 ‘Birthday’ assisted by their tutor Ms King.

The girls produced flawless and energetic portrayals of the infamous characters, especially Violet and Jemima as Edina who both showed their thorough understanding of the character and were hilarious in the process. The two Saffrons, Rosie and Katie, played the rather intense character extremely well as did Katie and Charlotte in their portrayal of the infamous Patsy. Superb cameo roles too from Mathilda, Lulu, Santina, Ella, Lily and Scarlet also added to the hilarity of the performance. Lights and sound, thanks to Kit and Isca, created the correct ambience whilst Sophie, Victoria and their hospitality team provided bubbles and sweets for the audience to enjoy at the interval. Every single girl in Priory had a role to play whether it was as a model, an office worker, backstage crew or, in the case of Ellie, designing the programmes and posters and of Amelia as prompt. 

As Housemistress I was extremely proud of all of the girls, and we all thoroughly enjoyed both performances as did our audiences. It was indeed ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!
