We have been working hard over the past few weeks to make sure that the car is fully prepared for our race at Goodwood next Sunday...

Here is an update on our progress, we received the new aluminium sheets for the body panels and have now cut and shaped them to fit the car. The process for the top, front panel was difficult. We had to make a card template to fit over the complex shape that makes up the chassis in the front, then lay this template over the flat sheet of aluminium and cut it out, leaving us with a much easier job of fitting the panel. The side body panels were easier to fit, but still offered some challenges to the team whilst fitting. Additionally, we have some new sprockets to increase our top speed. We fitted a new chain to these sprockets as they are a different size to the previous ones. We are now applying the finishing touches to the car before our race, we are all looking forward to it, and hope that you will come and support.

Our race will start at 14:00 on Sunday 8th May at Goodwood Motor Circuit, West Sussex, PO18 0PX. We will, however, be at the track from 08:00 ish. We have a practice session in the morning that starts at 9:30 and the prize giving ceremony will be at 17:15. Parking for spectators will be in the ‘Chicane Paddock’ which is on your right as soon as you drive into the track.
