Tennis

Another close match for the boy’s 1st Team against a strong Bryanston squad. They lost 5-4 in a deciding game.

Oliver and Archie continued their win streak. They won all their matches comfortably and beat the 1st pair from Bryanston 6-1.

Junior Girl’s vs Wells Cathedral School

U15A won 8-1

U15B lost 8-1

U14A lost 9-0

Another fantastic win for U15A’s. Lilah and Victoire are proving why they are the 1st pairing with some powerful serving and good volleying, they won all three matches and only dropped 3 games the entire match! They have now won 12/12 matches.

Alicia and Emma also had a productive day. They won one match and lost another in a very long game which included some consistent rallying, brave shot making, and smart serving. They lost 7-6 in a deciding match tie break to the 1st pair from Wells.

Senior Girl’s vs Wells Cathedral School

All teams lost in what was a hard fixture for the senior girls. After losing 7-2 last year, the 1st Team girls lost 5-4 in a deciding game. The pair of the match must go to India and Jemima. They won all three matches 6-2, 6-2, 6-1.

Athletics

Athletics at Dauntseys’ on Saturday was an excellent event. Lots of pupils across all the ages performed very well, however, the highlight must be the amazing senior boys relay team, who beat lots of major schools to finish a strong second!! The junior girls also came second on the day, despite a minor setback. Well done to everyone.
