After just three sessions, the RN CCF Cadets have taken to the water with autonomy and confidence to sail at Cheddar Reservoir. The wind was perfect for a full mix of leisurely cruising, tacking and fast sailing with the occasional surprise gust causing capsizes. The Cadets remembered their training and expertly handled the situation with echoes of laughter as they worked together to right their vessels and carry on sailing. The instructors were keen point out how impressed they were with the levels of engagement and enthusiasm. Once again, King’s pupils make the School proud.
