We understand that, due to the situation in the Middle East, an increasing number of families are considering the possibility of a short-term school place for their child, including for the summer term. This is not a situation that families or schools would ever wish to find themselves in, and we recognise that such decisions are often complex and deeply personal. Our aim is simply to support, where it is helpful to do so, by making the process as clear, straightforward and reassuring as possible.  

To that end, we are offering a ‘King’s Bruton for a Term’ option for both day and boarding families. This is available to any family who may be exploring a short stay at the school and is designed to offer clarity and flexibility at a time when both are especially important. If you feel this may be of interest, please read on to find out more. 

Why King's Bruton?

King’s Bruton is a beautiful school set in the heart of historic Bruton in South West England, within easy reach of the London airports (around 2 hours) and with a history spanning more than 500 years. We are incredibly proud of our strong sense of community, our reputation for excellent academics, our exceptional pastoral care, and our breadth of extra-curricular opportunities. 

Our size is one of our greatest strengths as it allows us to deliver an aspirational programme of academics while ensuring that everyone is known and valued as an individual. Perhaps most importantly, the care and support pupils receive at King’s is outstanding.
