A beautiful Ceremony of Carols by Candlelight with the Girls' Chamber Choir...

On Monday 6th December, the Girls’ Chamber Choir performed a selection of movements from Britten’s Ceremony of Carols in the atmospheric and candlelit setting of St Mary’s Church. The girls worked very hard over a short space of time to produce a good performance. Two movements required soloists, with Amelia (U6th Form, Priory) singing ‘That Yongë Child’ and Olivia (U6th Form, Arion) singing the solo in ‘Balulalow’. It was super that Harry (5th Form, New House) was able to join in accompanying one of the movements ‘Wolcum Yole!’ alongside playing a harp solo within the performance.

Well done to all involved on a super performance!
