A beautiful Ceremony of Carols by Candlelight with the Girls' Chamber Choir...

On Monday 6^th December, the Girls’ Chamber Choir performed a selection of movements from Britten’s Ceremony of Carols in the atmospheric and candlelit setting of St Mary’s Church. The girls worked very hard over a short space of time to produce a good performance. Two movements required soloists, with Amelia (U6^th Form, Priory) singing ‘That Yongë Child’ and Olivia (U6^th Form, Arion) singing the solo in ‘Balulalow’. It was super that Harry (5^th Form, New House) was able to join in accompanying one of the movements ‘Wolcum Yole!’ alongside playing a harp solo within the performance.

Well done to all involved on a super performance!
