Great teamwork at the Business Studies & Economics Challenge Day...

Hot off the back of Glastonbury, the L6th Form pupils shared in their own Festival experience when they were asked to curate a tent for the Summer Music Festival ‘We Out Here’ as part of the 2022 Challenge Day.

It was fantastic to see great teamwork on show, and the pupils really demonstrated their creativity by coming up with ideas from an Eden Project themed Wellness Area to a Floating Bar on the Festival’s lake. The Festival owner, Mr Daws, and our Business teachers Ms Bell-West and Mrs Goffe, had a difficult time judging but ‘Purple Rain’ were crowned winners, having come up with the concept of an 80’s inspired tent.

The Festival Director commented ‘I was very impressed with the tent ideas that your pupils presented, but Purple Rain’s concept really suits our demographic and maybe next year, there will be an actual 80’s tent at 'We Out Here'. Well done Team, Purple Rain’. The Challenge Day will be back next year.
