A fascinating trip for A Level Business & DT pupils to the Mini Manufacturing Plant...

On Monday 6^th February, all 6^th Form A Level Business pupils and L6^th Form Design and Technology pupils visited the Mini Manufacturing Plant in Oxford. It was fascinating to watch the iconic Mini car being made, starting with a coil of steel and moving through a robotic production line and so interesting to hear about supply chains and the move to the production of electric vehicles.

It was fantastic to hear some of the U6^th Form Business pupils discussing links to their A Level course on the coach on the way home! There are so many opportunities for pupils to use Mini as context in their forthcoming exams.
