Thursday saw two fixtures take place against Wells Cathedral School. The 1st XI, fielding a number of debutants due to injury and exams, faced a tough test in the second round of the National Schools T20. Captain Archie made a positive move at the toss and elected to bat first. Openers, Ronnie and Ben, started well with a partnership of 70 for the first wicket. Captain Frost led from the front with the bat scoring a well worked 58 supported well by Oscar. King’s posted a strong 172-4 off their 20 overs. King’s struggled to find the right areas with the ball and this was punished by Wells, however, the game would go down to the last over with Wells getting over the line 8 wickets down with two balls to spare. The Girls' U15s showed their class beating Wells Cathedral School by 9 wickets. Restricting Wells to 101-7 off 20 overs, King’s reached the total inside 9 overs.

Saturday saw a block fixture against Warminster School. The 1st XI looking to right the wrongs from Thursday in their third National School T20 Cup game. Batting first, King’s posted a below parr 129 off their 20 overs with Ben batting well for his 66. King’s showed great character with the ball and the fielding was exceptional, only for Warminster to score the required 6 runs off the last ball of the game. The 2nd XI posted 191-6 off 25 overs with Ben, George and Angus all contributing with the bat. King’s dismissed Warminster for 151 and won by 40 runs with Jago the pick of the bowlers with his 4 wickets for 39 runs. The U15s scored 180 for 6 off their allocated overs. Freddie scoring a fine 56 before they bowled Warminster out for 52 inside 16 overs. The U14As posted 164/6 off 25 overs with Nathan finishing 50 not out. They went on to bowl Warminster out for 106 and won by 58 runs. The U14/15 Bs won by 33 runs, scoring 124/6 off 20 overs they limited Warminster to 91/9. Both Ben and Zak retiring on 30.

The 1st XI now complete their National Schools T20 campaign away at Clayesmore School on Thursday.
