Old Brutonian Ben Fearn commissioned into the Queen's Dragoon Guards

During the Easter holiday Old Brutonian Ben Fearn was commissioned into the Queen's Dragoon Guards. Ben, formerly a House Prefect in Blackford House, graduated from Leeds University prior to attending the year long commissioning course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Ben was selected amongst fierce competition to join Wales's only cavalry regiment.

Along with his family (including his sister Freya, also an Old Brutonian) Ben was kind enough to invite his old Housemaster (himself a former chief instructor at the Academy) to the Commissioning Parade - a very proud moment for them both. A day that will linger long in the memory.
