Our 4th Form cadets took on a lively VHF PLT this week, testing communication and teamwork. A group of cadets who had planned the activity the week before stepped up brilliantly to lead it for those returning from Ten Tors - showing great initiative and leadership.

The challenge saw cadets guide a blindfolded teammate using naval-style numbers, before sending a message back to base with the phonetic alphabet, using correct radio protocol.

We were also delighted to welcome back OBs Josh (B17) and Charlie Cross (B19), Royal Navy Warfare S/Lts, who shared inspiring stories and coached cadets on clear communication and team morale throughout the exercise.

"It was so interesting to hear from experienced Naval Officers who did CCF at King's about their time in the Royal Navy so far. It was eye opening and we really enjoyed it!" said Issy B, 4th Form Priory.

A fantastic afternoon highlighting the confidence, leadership, and teamwork at the heart of CCF at King’s.
