Our Royal Navy CCF cadets ended the term with a superb display of professionalism and pride as they delivered their full parade and inspection to Major Barrow, our Contingent Commander. The entire event was designed, trained and led by the NCOs, who set exceptionally high standards throughout. Their hard work showed: the cadets turned out smartly, marched confidently, and presented themselves with the kind of composure that reflected just how far they have come this term. As the final session before the holidays, this parade served as their passing out parade, and every cadet should feel immensely proud of what they have achieved.
This was also a significant moment for our senior cadets. Following a demanding process that included formal interviews, clear demonstration of conduct and responsibility, and delivering training as Officer in Charge, three of our NCOs: Sophia W, Alasdair E and Rupert R, were promoted from Leading Hand to Petty Officer. Their leadership throughout the term has been outstanding, and their promotion is richly deserved. It was a fitting end to a brilliant term for the RN section, showcasing teamwork, discipline and the professionalism that has become their hallmark.
