On Thursday 6th November, pupils from 3rd to 5th form in the KSB Motorsport Greenpower Junior Team headed to the Haynes International Motor Museum test track for an exciting afternoon of practice and development.
The session gave everyone - not just the drivers - a chance to get involved. While drivers focused on handling, speed, and battery efficiency, the pit crew worked on perfecting quick changes and car adjustments. The whole team collaborated to see what could be improved before next season.
“It’s fantastic to see how much their teamwork, problem-solving, and technical skills are developing,” said Alice, one of the senior members. “We’re already learning so much as we prepare for another exciting racing season!”
The day built on last year’s impressive performance and helped the team focus on new goals ahead of the 2026 Greenpower season, which kicks off at Goodwood in April.
The Greenpower programme gives pupils the chance to combine STEM learning with hands-on experience in designing, building, and racing battery-powered cars - sparking creativity, teamwork, and sustainable innovation across both the Junior and Senior Teams.
