King’s Bruton CCF celebrated a year of success at the annual CCF Formal Dinner held in the Memorial Hall. King’s Bruton BTEC Hospitality served Cadet NCOs, Staff Officers and guests with a delightful three course meal, followed by port and cheese and tea and coffee. Everything was produced by the Hospitality pupils and the food and service was excellent.
The annual event saw Contingent Commander Major Barrow reflect on an excellent year of many achievements and activities for the Royal Navy and Army Sections and look forward to a busy 2026. Colonel William Waugh, MBE, spoke to the guests about his life and experiences in the Army and the role that CCF and cadets continue to play in schools.
An excellent evening of good food, drink and conversation was had by all.
