King’s Bruton welcomes applications from pupils who are ready to embrace the many opportunities the School offers and who will flourish within our vibrant community. As a largely non‑selective school, we offer places on a first‑come, first‑served basis, so we encourage early applications wherever possible.
Whether you are just starting to explore your options or are ready to begin your application, our team is always happy to help—whether that means answering questions, offering advice, or helping you get a true sense of life at King’s.
We are also mindful that some families, due to changing circumstances, may need to consider a move at short notice. To support this, we offer a Fast‑Tracked Admissions Process, designed to provide clarity and reassurance at what can be a challenging time.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Arrange a visit
Families are warmly invited to visit the School at any time, to gain the clearest sense of life at King’s, we recommend arranging a visit around two years before your intended point of entry. We look forward to hearing from you!
A visit will take around two hours and include a tour of the School, a tour of one of the three girls’ or three boys’ houses and an opportunity to spend time with the Headmaster.
Should you wish to meet specific staff (Director of Sport, Director of Music, Deputy Head Sixth Form, Deputy Head Academic etc) this, too, can easily be arranged.

Get In Touch
To arrange a visit and for all enquiries, please contact Emma Halford-Macleod, Head of Admissions.

We are delighted that King’s has a review in The Good Schools Guide, and feel that the GSG review captures what makes King’s Bruton such a successful and popular school. We concur with their conclusion that King’s is an historical bastion of a school that is absolutely booming in the 21st century.
