A wonderful Leavers' Concert...

The Leavers’ Concert was an incredible evening but, as always, tinged with a little sadness as we say goodbye to the young musicians with whom we’ve worked with for last 2-5 years.

It was an impressive programme which included Baroque, English song, folk, musical theatre, opera and pop. It was also lovely to include a duet and a trio with Amelia and Phoebe providing a fun opening with What Is This Feeling from Wicked, and as the finale, Amelia, Olivia and Phoebe singing For Good also from the musical Wicked.

All the pupils have grown in confidence since most of them performed in the New Musicians’ Concert back in September 2017, and it is incredible to think what they have achieved since then. They have all supported various ensembles at King’s over the years.

As always this was a night to celebrate these young musicians talents, we will miss them terribly and wish them great success and happiness for the future. Our congratulations go to them all on a super evening.
