The annual Brass, Electric Guitar and Percussion Concert provided an enjoyable evening of music, featuring a diverse mix of styles and arrangements. With performances spanning traditional brass works to classic and modern rock pieces.
Brass and percussion players tackled a variety of material, from energetic marches and jazz-inspired tunes to arrangements of well-known popular songs. The balance between ensemble work and more expressive solo features added depth and interest to the concert.
The evening was a clear reflection of the effort and preparation put in by the performers. It was well-received by the audience and provided a valuable platform for pupils to share their progress and passion for music. My thanks go to all the teaching involved in preparing pupils for the concert.
Congratulations to all involved for a successful and enjoyable evening of live music.
