A wonderful variety of solo performances at the Informal Concert

On Friday evening, we were treated to a variety of solo performances at the Informal Concert. There was a wide variety of genres on display, from Mozart opera and English song to a drum solo of Race Against the Machine. All the soloists performed brilliantly well in this supportive and intimate setting and there were a good number of supporters at the event.

These Informal Concerts are a new addition to the King’s calendar and have worked well, offering a more relaxed alternative to a full formal concert in addition to providing an improved platform for our musicians to perform as soloists. My thanks and congratulations go to all involved.
