King’s Bruton is celebrating another year of excellent academic achievement as pupils receive their A Level, BTEC, and EPQ results. This year’s U6th Form leavers achieved an impressive 63% A–B grades, with 34% of all grades at A–A* across all qualifications.
Several subject areas delivered exceptional performances, with Art, Economics, Further Mathematics, and Music each achieving over 90% A–B grades. Business Studies, Geography, History, History of Art, and Physics also excelled, each with more than 80% A–B grades.
It was another excellent year for the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), with 70% of pupils awarded A or A*. These results firmly reflect the dedication by the pupils to their individual research projects.
The BTEC programme continues to thrive, with over 65% of grades in BTEC Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, BTEC Sport, and BTEC Performing Arts awarded Distinction or Distinction*. Many pupils successfully combined BTEC qualifications with A Levels, achieving strong outcomes across both pathways and showcasing the breadth of opportunity within the school.
A particular highlight was the achievement of nine pupils who secured straight A/A* grades or equivalents across all their qualifications.
