Academic Success 5th Form

King’s Bruton is delighted to celebrate another year of excellent GCSE results, with pupils achieving success across a wide range of subjects. This year’s achievements reflect not only the commitment and determination of our pupils, but also their enthusiasm, resilience and ambition, as well as the care and dedication of their teachers.

Across the curriculum, outcomes have been particularly impressive with nearly 90% grades awarded being 9-4 grades. In Religious Studies, 100% of pupils achieved grades 9–7 (A*–A), while in Biology 75% secured top grades. Pupils also excelled in Art, Design Technology, History, Latin, Further Mathematics and Physics, with more than half achieving grades 9–7. These results highlight both the strength and breadth of teaching at King’s, as well as the excellent work ethic of our pupils.

There have been many successes throughout the year, and countless individual triumphs. It is important that pupils take pride in these achievements and see the rewards of their hard work, perseverance and determination.

Particular congratulations go to Eleanor C, Sascha B, Sarah H, Gruffyd J, Isabelle J, Johan L, Morgan V and Emily S, who each secured nine or more 9-7 (A*-A) grades. We also congratulate Araminta C, Annie C, Sammy H, Luke M-I, Moritz P and Buster S, who achieved six or more top 9-7 grades.

We are incredibly proud of every pupil’s accomplishments and the positive attitude they have shown throughout their GCSE studies. For many, these results provide strong foundations for the exciting opportunities ahead in the Sixth Form where we look forward to building on our proven record of success at A Level and in our BTEC programme.
