3rd Form Life at King's

The 3rd Form had a fantastic start to their time at King’s with a wonderful 3rd Form dinner on Saturday night. Held in the Memorial Hall, the pupils all dressed up and were served delicious food and soft drinks by Lower and Upper 6th Hospitality pupils, Mrs Garland, Mrs Simper and the Headmaster. They then had some dancing afterwards and there was a room with games in it for pupils who wanted a quieter space. It was the perfect chance to socialise and for the pupils to meet others in their year that they hadn’t yet spoken to especially when they moved in between courses.  Many pupils then enjoyed a Saturday night in their boarding House and a fun Church service and delicious brunch on Sunday morning. In the afternoon the pupils met Rev Bev and Mr Marshfield and played benchball, dodgeball and crash mat rounders which was great fun.

Overall, it was a superb 3rd Form induction weekend and pupils said the following:

"I absolutely loved it and already feel part of King’s."

"I liked seeing the Mem Hall all lit up on Saturday night – it is such an impressive building."

"The food was delicious and I liked the way we moved around too."

"I really enjoyed benchball as I had never played it before."

"I feel like I have been at King’s for ever and really like it."

The 3rd Form seem to have settled incredibly well and they are really looking forward to their Battlefields Trip in October.
