Admissions Life at King's

We had a great day on Saturday as we welcomed a record number of guests to our annual Open Day. Over twice as many as we had expected, and certainly the most we have had attend an Open Day in living memory. Because of the number of guests, over 150 pupils were involved as tour guides, and as Boarding House hosts, and it was wonderful to see not just how well they engaged with our visitors, but also their evident affection for their school. The pupils here really are our best ambassadors and, judging from the feedback from the visitors after the event, it is clear that they did themselves, and the School, proud.

It was great to see many families at our Open Day showing an interest in our wonderful school. Many pupils took an active part in promoting the School and passed on their valuable insights about the King's community, creating a lively buzz around the School grounds.

I felt from the moment I arrived, that despite the rain, there was a real ‘buzz’ about the place. The energy and enthusiasm of all tour guides, members of staff, and visitors made the morning highly enjoyable, rewarding and a testament to what a wonderful environment King’s is.

Ashtyn - Head of School
