Chinese boarders enjoyed a series of events celebrating Chinese New Year at King’s

To celebrate the Chinese New Year we took the boarders to a Chinese restaurant in Bristol, where they enjoyed a wide variety of traditional Hong Kong and Sichuan dishes. The students also marked the occasion on site during the Mandarin Club, taking part in traditional paper‑cutting activities and writing messages of good luck for the new year.

It was wonderful to see the Chinese students proudly celebrating their traditions and sharing their culture with their non‑Chinese peers.
