Sixth Form Linguists enjoyed an recent outing and Italian dinner in Wells. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing evening, offering pupils the opportunity to spend time together in an informal and culturally rich setting. The meal was followed by a leisurely walk-through Wells, culminating in a visit to admire the beautiful Cathedral, which added a further dimension to the experience.
What made the evening particularly special was the opportunity to share this moment with pupils from a wide range of nationalities – French, Spanish, Italian, German and Irish – reflecting both the linguistic diversity of the group and the inclusive, outward-looking ethos of the department. It was a lovely occasion that strengthened relationships, celebrated languages and cultures, and created lasting memories for both staff and students.
