CCF Cadets really enjoyed their Introduction to Clay Pigeon Shooting at Yoxter Ranges...

King’s Bruton CCF Advanced Infantry were taken to Yoxter Ranges by King’s Bruton Contingent Staff to undergo an introduction to clay pigeon shooting. 

Ran by South West CTT, the cadets undertook training and then had shots at front and side clay pigeon. There was some excellent shooting and the feedback from Officers and Cadets was that they wanted the activity to last longer! As a new venture, it was a great success, and one that we hope to repeat in the summer term.
