Despite the weather, being in bubbles and no matches, a great time was had in sport at the weekend.

A very wet and windy Saturday afternoon saw the official launch of our Crown vs Dolphin inter-school competition which will be running through until the end of term in rugby, hockey, football, netball, cross-country and fitness. Every pupil is assigned as a Crown or Dolphin and will be contributing towards the cup through their participation and performances for their respective teams on a Saturday afternoon regardless of the sport or activity they are taking part in.

It was fantastic to see the enthusiasm and level of engagement with all of our pupils and despite participating in their bubbles, it is great that the pupils have a collective aim regardless of their year group, activity or bubble. I have been so impressed with the willingness of all our pupils to continue to engage with our Saturday sport provision, despite the challenges being faced at this moment in time, and I look forward to seeing which team, Crown or Dolphin, will prevail at the end of term.
