On Thursday, King’s hosted the Area Qualifiers for the U15 Girls’ National Indoor Lady Taverners Cricket Competition, welcoming strong opposition from King Edward’s School, Bath, and the Royal High School, Bath. The standard of cricket throughout the day was exceptionally high, with all teams demonstrating great skill, determination, and sportsmanship.

King’s delivered an impressive performance against KES Bath to secure victory and book their place in the Regional Zone Finals later this term. The team showed composure under pressure, excellent teamwork, and a clear confidence developed through their winter training programme.

Congratulations to all the players involved — this success is a real testament to their hard work, commitment, and dedication to the Winter Cricket programme. The school looks forward to seeing the team continue their progress in the next stage of the competition.
