Business Studies and Economics Sixth Form

L6th BTEC Business pupils, along with U6th pupils, visited Cumberland Lodge for a fascinating talk with entrepreneur and former Dragons’ Den investor Sarah Willingham She shared her journey from International Business graduate to CEO, reflecting on the challenging economic climate, the hospitality industry, and her new venture in the water sector.

In an informal Q&A with the U6th Business pupils, Sarah offered practical advice, recommending a gap year as well as several undergraduate courses. She also offered that if she weren’t in hospitality, she would choose a career in technology. It was an engaging and insightful session which gave pupils valuable real-world perspectives on business and career development.
