King's Musicians Attend World Leading Percussionist Concert

Several King's pupils were lucky enough to attend an evening concert in Wells where they saw Colin Currie, a world leading percussionist, perform.

The works performed included Elliott Carters’ Figment V which kicked off the evening and finished with Rolf Wallin’s Realismos Mágicos. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the evening and picked up on a number of techniques and musical ideas which will help them in their compositions.
