We are delighted that we have raised £3,800 for last term’s charity Child Autism UK.

This was raised from the EAL Cake Sale, Priory Hockey Event, Wellesley Chocolate Tombola, Priory Pumpkin sale, Mufti Day, Blackford Charity Night, Priory Candy Canes, Christmas Fair and Church Collections & Donations.

The pupils have all put in so much effort for events and come up with lots of ideas to raise money. Suzy Yardley, who is the CEO of Child Autism UK and James Savage, who is involved in the Fundraising aspect of the Charity, came to collect the cheque from the School and they said the following, ‘Thank you so much to all of the King’s Community for supporting us. This donation will make a massive difference to us as a small charity and ensure that we can continue our work. The donation made will go towards two things, the first is our helpline which since covid is the only dedicated helpline in the UK.  We take in excess of 650 calls and messages a month, often from people with nowhere else to turn. The second area is our bursary programme which enables us to support families.’
